HEAD & TAIL - from amoeba to man

A dance- and theatre lecture about the body and its’ history, for children aged 8 to 12.

In Head&Tail the audience is presented with cultural, historical and contemporary ideas and facts about the body. The children themselves participate and reflect during the piece through physical exercises and experiences.

Through dance, text, costumes and images Head&Tail demonstrates and explains humorously about the evolution of man, body ideals through time, the relation between brain and body, and how ...

Head&Tail supplements contemporary perceptions of the body with ideas, ideals and notions from other cultures and ages.
